Wine with Personality

“Seibert Weine” are known to be pleasant and light wines, which are enjoyed by us and our customers. We strive to sustain the individuality of each wine; our grapes are carefully treated during the whole vegetation period, are hand picked and the grapes of each vineyard are allowed to ripen in separate barrels. This guarantees harmonious wines, which mature every year from new „wine-babies“ to grown-up wines.

History of our vineyard

The origins of our vineyard date back to the year 1560 when a French physician called Seibert married the young daughter of the Fabri family, vinemakers in Neumagen. They settled down and started their own vineyard, which was continued, in the same family for more than 400 years.

In the 1950s, Gerhard and Hanne Seibert expanded their trade to most parts of Germany. Gerd, their son, read vinemaking in Geisenheim and has taken over the family vineyard in the 1980s.
